a robbery in progress at his cousin’s gas station. The convenience store’s
burglar alarm prompted the man and his cousin to investigate leading to a
confrontation with armed men in the parking lot. The would-be robbers shot
the man in the leg, the two victims returned fire, but the assailants got
away. The police apparently did not respond to the alarm until shots were
fired.
